There is an excerpt from a newspaper "Southport Visiter" dated 11th Dec 1917 which reports news of him being a POW on his Life Story page on Lives of the First World War website.

tayLjordan may like to add information he discovers to Thomas Faithwaite's life story page along with sources. This website is connected to Imperial War Museum so information collected will become a permanent record.
