Thank you Colin,  that's all great . I cant seem to access the family centre o family search I kept going back to the same point.  It says I need to log on but when I do it takes me back to the beginning of the search!

I couldn't even find the marriage details on Scotland's people so many thanks

Hi , I'm having trouble actually finding the entry on Scotland's people  , did you manage to locate it I found the details of a marriage for a Ann whitecross and a Robert Clark on ancestry but I'm not able to see the marriage details on this site .

It is on Scotlands People -
