What was his wound and where was he treated, please?
« on: Sunday 18 November 18 12:34 GMT (UK) »
13255, Palmer, J H, 8/Leics.R.

I can't make out what his injury was - looks like "frac tansis", where I thought "frac" might be an abbreviation for fractured, but no idea what tansis could be.  Any ideas, please?

Also, can anyone help with the info on where he was "entrained" and "detrained" (whatever that means).  Looks like Doullens and Le Treport to me, but I could be very wide of the mark.  The listing is from the 31 Amb Train Hospital.

Thanks in advance.

Could it be Fractured Tarsus?  i.e broken foot?

Doullens was in the battle zone, Treport the site of a number of hospitals on the coast near Dieppe.  So being moved away from the immediate war area to hospital.

And I am with Groom and Jamjar on foot bones
