This tree is being done for a friend and he was adamant that he had an 'auntie' Charlotte. However, in those days it was considered 'polite' and the done thing to call friends of parents 'Aunt' so I wonder if this is another fallacy. I have already tracked down his 'Scottish' grandparents who proved to have been in Dublin, Ireland. (Lucky person can now get himself a paddy passport and retain his freedom of the EU!)
