Hit brick wall with John Roberts who stated on 1911 census birth place Twysog.
Birth year 1887.
Is Twysog a village /hamlet or farm as cannot find it on maps (do not have ordnance map of Denbighshire district alas)
If anyone can tell me which district/parish/reg.district I could search would be very grateful

There are some holiday cottages advertised for let in Tywysog, Henllan. (St Asaph Registration District?). Not sure if that is any help.

In 1901 there is a John Roberts, age 14, born Henllan, living with parents  John and Mary at Llandyrnog Rural. (From Family Search 1901)

In 1891 the family appear to be living in Llanynys, Ruthin. John, aged 4, born Denbighshire, England.

Checking the birth details of a couple of the children against the GRO Index, the mother's maiden name appears to be Rowlands. If that is so, it  is possible that John Roberts birth was recorded in St Asaph during  September Q 1886

A lot more info has also been posted on the other thread. Louisa Maud found John's birth reg, mother Rowlands.
