I'm a bit confused, Sandra, regarding 'John Wedge was best man for brother "D" and bride "C S" in Laing Free Methodist Church 7 April 1953' surely it was later than 1953?
Was John married too and do you know of his wife?
These public records confuse me as did the Sandusky library link; the public records show 3 addresses with different years, so which is correct? Actually the Sandusky library is excellent for other people on my tree but I can't seem to find anything about the Wedge family there?

Should have been 1973.  Yes John Gregory Wedge (born 18 August 1956) was married - couldn't name his wife because she will hopefully still be living and may possible have re-married.  Will send her name by pm just in case.

Regarding public records - You might find that there is a father and son of the same name with a different middle name.
