I agree with July 4th - the line through it is the 'y' from July in the line above, and as there's quite a long stroke between the letters, it does look a bit odd.

It's the year that intrigues me. Is it 1901 or is it meant to be 1918 OR is she 'back from the future' some 17,000 years? Time travel anyone?

Looks like 1910 to me and the registrar (or whoever) has forgotten to cross out the pre-printed "0" of 1900.
It would help to know if where the entry is from if it is a parish register for instance, what do the earlier or later dates say?
