Henry Frederick Seagram
« on: Tuesday 20 November 18 16:22 GMT (UK) »
Ist Battalion 23 rd  RWF

Henry Frederick Seagram  was born about 1838 in Wiltshire, after his baptism I can`t find him all until 1881 when he is a retired army captain. From his obit  in 1883 I know he bought a commission, and  he married in late 1871.
Can anyone help fill in the gaps.
Thanks.

There is a marriage of a Henry Frederick SEAGRAM to a Mary Elizabeth WILLIAMS, 10 Jul 1871 in Rhayader, Radnorshire which would tie up with the 1881 census you have him in, he is still listed as an Army Officer.

If his parents are John and Louisa, in 1841 they are at Back Street, Warminster and in 1851 he seems to be at Church Street, Warminster.
Next he appears to go to India with his Regiment, I think from 1858-1869.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
