Completed Baptism - Esh RC Church 15 April 1883 Durham Archives
« on: Tuesday 20 November 18 18:07 GMT (UK) »
Would someone be kind enough to check the baptism of Elizabeth Conroy at Esh RC Church.  Parents were John and Margaret Conroy.  Is Mother's maiden name Hine's?

Also, I would be interested to know who the Godparents may have been.

If you need a look up at Tyne and Wear Archives I will happily do this in exchange for this information.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Yes, that is where I found this.  However, I am hoping for confirmation that mmn was Hines and would like to know names of Godparents.

John is my Great Grandfather's brother and yesterday I believe I have had a breakthrough in finding him in America.  I am now trying to gather conclusive evidence - even though I am already quite sure that this will be him. :)

Have you clicked on the link I gave?

Sorry Jen, no I did not the first time - I thought you were just saying to check FamilySearch  :-[

I have now though .. thanks so much for this .. I think Patrick may have been Margaret's Father perhaps .. I am not sure about other witness.  I had hoped it might be a family member.  I am very grateful to you for finding this, Jen! :D  So no look up required for this one at the archives happily.
