Looking for information of Mary Pitt, married Samuel Withers 3 Dec 1761, at Birmingham, Warwick; mother of Edward Weston Withers and Harriot Margaret Cadaric Withers.
Would be glad to know if she was the Mary Pitt baptised 1 Oct 1743 at St Philip’s Birmingham, the daughter of William Pitt, no further information at this stage. I notice Family Search has 16 possible deaths all at Birmingham, but I cannot make any link to her husband Samuel or to her children.

1761 Marriage licence gives Mary Pitt as a Spinster of the parish of St Martin and age 23 years and upwards.

I’ve managed to find Edward Weston Withers, parents Samuel & Mary baptised 9 Nov 1762
Saint Martin, he was not showing up with the others.

Could I now turn this about and ask after Samuel Withers?
The only info I currently have is a possible birth date of 1738, presumably at Birmingham, but not at all sure; as well as his 1761 marriage to Mary Pitt (as earlier discovered); no death date and no occupation.

Re Edwin Withers, 1804-1888, baptized at St Phillips' 6 Sep 1804, Parents: Edward Weston & Elizabeth Withers, married Sarah Welch 5 Oct 1837 at St Thomas'.
1841 Census has him at Ravenhurst St Bordesley, Aston, Brm, a Tobacconist.
1851 at 49 Nursery Tce., Aston, Warwickshire, a Rope & Twine Manufacturer and Cigar Merchant until his death in 1888.
Have looked at various Trade and Post Directories, but have been unable to open the pages!! Weird.
Is it possible for verification in a Directory please?

His father, Edward Weston Withers 1762-1819, only appears as a Subscriber to A Complete System of Practical Arithmetic; with various branches in the mathematics ... to which is added ...Book-keeping, by single and double entry, 1783, TAYLOR, William; Birmingham. But again I cannot verify any Trade or similar Directory for this man. Your assistance would be appreciated.
