I took out a sub to the above a year ago and recently renewed my sub for another year; I've found that it's not as good as Anc or FindMyPast for finding records but good for finding children from marriages.
I joined their forum in the hope of finding others who have my family names and could help me or vice versa. What usually happens is that someone posts a query about someone they're researching and need help; I invariably reply that they should use this great site and give them the www. name.
Today the administrators have written to me to say I must no longer do this as it's spam and an advert recommending rootschat-how biased is that?
I replied saying I will continue to recommend rootschat and if they don't want my business then refund my sub and I'll be off!

I would tell them that, in that case  you will advise Rootschaters to discontinue recommending The Genealogist website.
