Death
« on: Wednesday 21 November 18 13:49 GMT (UK) »
I am hoping someone can help me find the demise of Henry Wright ,who was born 14 Oct 1900.
His father was Wiiiam wright and and mother Mary Ann Gledhill. On the 1901 census Henry was born in Middlesborough, I think his mother was visiting because she and her husband were boarders with another William Wright (age 49) not his father. The house was in Hunslet Leeds.
The next time I located  William and Mary Ann was on the 1911 census but Henry was not there.
My feeling is that he died either in West Yorkshire or Birmingham.
The Last son born in Yorkshire was Henry (6 months old)
Now when I go to 1911 census first child born was Ernest born 1907. So Henry must have died between 1907-1911.
somewhere between these dates he died.
That is my theory but i am having trouble finding him.
Help!

Is this the right family in 1901 - RG13/4190 folio 9 page 10 - 58 Vine Street, Hunslet

William Wright - 49
William Wright - 27 - born Leeds
Mary A Wright - 24 - ditto
John Wm - 4 - ditto
Edwin - 2 - ditto
Henry - 6 months - born Middlesbrough

And probably the same family in 1911 - in Ladywood, Birmingham

Married 16 years, 7 children born, 5 still living

Henry from 1901 is missing.  Three additional children shown on 1911, all born between 1901 and 1911, so there is one additional child who was born and subsequently died 1901-1911

The three additional children born between 1901 and 1911 -

Herbert - 1903 - mmn given as Gledhall
Ernest - 1907 - mmn Gledhill
Albert - 1909 - mmn Gledhill

Possible for the child born and died 1901-1911

Arthur - died 1906 - Holbeck

The Yorkshire Indexers site has transcripts of many of the Leeds burial registers, including the following entries:

Hunslet Cemetery, 20 Oct 1901, Henry Wright, s of William of 1 Neesum Place, Hunslet (age given as 2 - mistake or mistranscribed??)

Beeston Cemetery, 17 Mar 1906, Arthur Wright, died at Drysalters, Beeston (aged 9 months)

The dates are of burial, not death, and the transcripts also have details of the grave locations, with a link to lists of others buried in the same plot. Neither looks like a family grave.
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson
