hi  trying to find any army records of Charles born 1889 died 1916 please has anyone access to Pension Record Cards , I have his medal record and got him on census plus his marriage

If he died in service in 1916 he could not have received a pension so perhaps it refers to his widow who would have received a War Widows Pension.  Married 1915 but no children born to the marriage

Over 60% of WW1 service records were burnt in the WW2 blitz and his do not appear to have survived

The reference mentions Mary Jane Rayner but that is all.
