Edwards and Best-Toronto

Roy Alexander Edwards married Lucy Mabel Best 20 Aug 1930 Toronto. Roy born Toronto abt 1909 and Lucy born England in 1910. No problems tracing Lucy to 1930. Roy does not appear on any census nor is his birth registered. His parents were William Edwards and Ida Graham who married in Toronto in 1906.
I have not been able to trace either of them after the marriage except for one instance when Roy was the informant for his father's death in 1944. They do not appear together on any voter lists that I could find
Can anyone help?

Reference in the Toronto Star Newspaper on February 21, 1936:

Mr. Justice Kingstone in Supreme Court today granted a divorce to Lucy Mabel Edwards, plaintiff, from Roy Alexander Edwards. They were married in August 1930 in Toronto.

Obituary for William in 1944 only mentions Ida and Roy.  No other family.  Ida's full name is Ida May Graham.

Thanks. Ida shows up in 1891 census with her mother in Toronto but nothing after her marriage.

In the 1901 census, Ida is living with her sister, Martha Atkins in Toronto working in a confectionary shop (as is Martha's husband, George).
