Good morning
I have a census 1911 in Plymouth I can't work out what ship name as its a bit faded
i came across this writing census but still can't work out what ship he was on .
any help I would be so grateful

In the address box it is "JTS" ship number 45295

If you wish to confirm your man was on board JTS official number 45295 Her crew agreements for 1911 are with the Maritime History Archive.

Looks as though she was engaged in the Home Trade, i.e. coasting around the British Isles and Near Continent.
James Fisher who owned JTS at the time in question, was a well known Barrow ship owner. Founded in 1847 and still operating today.

I will book mark that site ....... I do know he was on the ship as I have the 1911 census ...... I would love to find out what ship  Hugh McIlwraith was on 1907 when he was away when his twin boys was born in Jan 1907
