EPH wireless heating timer, help needed

We have just has a new central heating boiler instaĺled. It has the, now apparently obligatory, wireless digital timer/temperature control device.
It was all set up nicely by the electrician and is working well but we are struggling to work out from the instruction manual how to alter the time settings. With the previous system it took about 3 minutes to alter or set up - this new "better" device involves many more manoeuvres.
Any adviceplease, about where to find clear instructions with video demo.?
Am thinking that we shall have to get the electrician back to give us a tutorial and video it!!

So far, all we can find online is the same instruction leaflet that we already have.

   Glad I am not the only one. I also have a new, fancy thermostat, a different brand, which I struggle to understand. I am going to get the installer back to give me a lesson, also to explain the thermostats he was apparently obliged to fit on some of the radiators.

energy consumption. This should ensure that the customer is able to operate the specific controls that have been installed and
to leave the operating instructions with them. It should also help them understand the best way to use the controls to maintain
comfort and minimise energy use. A detailed guide to use of controls is available to download from

For new systems the regulations suggest that a set of operating and maintenance instructions should be left with the occupants
in a durable and easily understood format.

None of the links/videos show a device like mine, so am reluctant to fiddle with ours.
As for it being a requirement to leave instructions with hte customer, we do have what appear to be detailed instructions but they are unclear, probably they assume some familiarity with digital controls.
Am thinking of video-ing the electrician when he comes back to demonstrate how to alter the time settings.
I must say that the entire system is unnecessarily detailed with (if you can find out how to alter them) separate settings for each day of the week.
The policy behind having to have these devices seems to be that previously users were using gas uneconomically - quite untrue, of course.And insulting to our intelligence. I suspect the whole thing is, like the smart meter fiasco, just a way of trying to fool folk into believing that they can reduce energy costs. Insulting to our jntelligence, really.
I can't imagine  for a minute that all these "cod" devices will solve the shameful fuel povery stats in the UK and the inflated energy costs which we all have to bear.
