Steam trawler "Restless Sea" around 1880-90s

I found someone working on this ship as a cook in 1881 and wanted to find a bit more about the ship and try and get a picture if possible. Any ideas hints etc?

Can you give us the Port of Registry and/or the official number of RESTLESS SEA?

built john collins hoad yard rye number 79197 reg in ramsgate 1879

Ah! Seems she was named RESTLESS WAVE!
As you say she was built in Rye, built from wood with a 10 HP engine, Screw driven. 64.7 long, breadth 17.4 depth 8.3. 31NRT 46 GRT.
Registered in Ramsgate in June 1879 and owned by James Wales of Ramsgate until 1883 when she was purchased by James Hoad of Ramsgate. ( The builders Father/Brother?) She was purchased in 1887 by Bernard McGoldrick of Donegal then Alexander Fiddles of Aberdeen and her registry was transferred to Granton later purchased By James Muirhead of Edinburgh. RESTLESS WAVE was sunk 4 miles WxS of May Island on 19 October 1890.

Edwin Lynden Master and 5 crew including cook Herbert Knowles
