In 1891 Mary is living with sister Martha and niece Jane. In 1901 only Martha and Jane are living at 60 Ellesmere Street, in 1911 they are still there along with Martha's widowed brother John so it definitely looks as though Mary died between 1891 and 1901.

FreeBMD throws up two deaths in 1900

Mary Walmsley Mar 1900 Leigh 8c 215 age 67 (I'm guessing that this is the butcher's wife)

Mary Walmesley Mar 1900 Leigh 8c 211 aged 66
