Joseph Neal & Elizabeth" Aitchison" Neal ..Durham Co. Ontario..Help needed

I am researching the above  couple & need a wee bit of help.
Joseph Neal was Elizabeth's 2 nd husband.I believe he was previously married as well, but unsure of who too.
Her 1st husband I believe was George Neal (1815-1840) they had 3 children.Which I do have.
Joseph & Elizabeth married c 1849 (no proof), they had 6 known children, which I do have.

My questions are: Is anyone researching his family?
                             Were George Neal & Joseph Neal related?
                             Who were Joseph Neal's parents?

When was Joseph born ?

There is this Joseph Neal and family  in Hope Township Durham Ontario 1861.   

Joseph Neal aged 63 years born 1798. Born England.
Elizabeth Neal aged 43 years. Born Scotland.
William Neal 18 years
Mary Neal 16 year
Charlotte Neal 10 years
Benjamin Neal 6 years
Sarah Neal 3 years
Joseph Neal 2 years.

Same family but no Joseph Neal in 1871 Peterborough Ontario

Elizabeth Neal   53 widowed.
William Neal   28 Benjamin Neal 17
George Neal   10 Charlotte Neal 20

There is an anc tree with Joseph Neal born 1820 and Elizabeth Acheson 1819 - 10 January 1894 Peterborough Ontario. Same children as above quoted on this tree but no further information on Joseph Neal. Presumably William Neal would be a son from the first marriage of Joseph.

No parents names on the death of William Neal - born 25 January 1841 passed away 12 October 1909
Ft. Frances, Ontario - aged 68 years - widowed. merchant.

Statutory registration for marriages in Ontario didn't begin until 1869 so there are no certificates available to verify parents details for either marriage to see if they match Joseph and George

Thanks Sandra for your time and the info,I have that.
Both Joseph & Elizabeth were married previously and their spouses died.
William is Elizabeth's son from her 1st marr.
  What I am after is:
         Were both Elizabeth husbands related somehow?
         Who was Joseph's Neals parents? ..as my direct ancestor is from Joseph Neal.
As I believe that Joseph married his 1st wife in England.
   Confusing ,I know.
Am hoping someone else has done extensive research on this line.
