place in Hampshire?
« on: Monday 26 November 18 07:44 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone figure out the name of the place starting with G, second line.  Ancestry have transcribed it as Guynell, but if that is in Hampshire, I have no idea where it might be.    This is 1871

Second attachment is 1851  transcribed as Gruel

(In 1861 & 1881  they just said she was born the same place as her husband)

I think it's Greywell ;D

From GenUKi:

"GREWELL, (or Grey Well), a parish in the hundred of Odiham, county Hants, 1 mile W. of Odiham, its post town, and 4 S.W. of Winchfield, the nearest railway station on the London and S.W. line. The Basingstoke canal passes through the neighbourhood."
