The Fox was a Public House situated near Bone Lane, just off Front Street and was probably the nearest pub to where he lived.  It is hard to tell because over the years there have been 17 pubs and a club in the village!

It closed down many years ago but it was a very rough place and there are many reports of fighting and robberies both outside and inside!  Eventually it was converted into flats but fell into a serious state of decay and was demolished in 1992.  Nothing has been built un the site since then
