Hello there,
   Thanks for the replies,....I did have most of the information on the children, but I didn't include this in my original search as too many names and dates can be unhelpful. My main search was for the parents and their backgrounds....seems they moved around a few times and varied occupations. I don't think the link to Manchester is strong, but I hoped to get a lead either from the census or possible marriage data.

No it isn't.  Sarah married Charles HEALEY and George married Mary WHITWORTH.
