Looking for the marriage record of Herbert Brebnor Kellaway,(Jack) and Sylvia Gardner in 1927.
Herbert was the son of Edwin John Kellaway and Rebecca Annie Brebner,(Brebnor) born c1899 South Africa.
Also the birth of  Doreen Elizabeth Joubert or Elizabeth Doreen Kellaway born c1902-05 South Africa.
Thank you.

Hello solidrock,

Just thought I'd add that in the 1901 census at Islington, Rebecca is shown as "Bertha":

Edwin Kelloway          53    England
Bertha Kelloway          33    England
Maud Kelloway          14    South Africa
Cecil Kelloway          10    South Africa
Dorothy Kelloway    6    South Africa
Alexander Kelloway    4    South Africa
Herbert Kelloway    2    South Africa

Hi maddys52,
Yes I already have that, I think it's an aka, I also don't think she was born in England more like SA. All their children were born in SA, I found the baptisms for some of them and the mother is Rebecca. This is a very complicated family with some of their children becoming famous actors. Thank you for the update.

I’m wondering whether this Queensland marriage could be them:
Marriage registration:
Hubert Lourieston Kellaway
Marriage date: 02/02/1927
Spouse's name: Sylvia Gardiner
Registration details: 1927/B/310

I assume that this is his father’s probate: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C9BT-YNVW?i=118&cc=2517051 => It seems that Herbert could also have been Hubert and his grandfather was "Edward Laurieston Kellaway" ….. And, of course Sylvia Gardner, was actually Sylvia Josephine Gardiner (with an “i”)

Thank you TreeSpirit, It is possible that the marriage was in Australia, I will check further. The death notice is very interesting. Thank you again.
