Who was Iris Southern ???

I'am trying to find who Iris Southern was, the only information i have is that she was born in the Manchester area of England in 1919 and her mother was a Florence Farrell, she appears in trees with a father as Joseph Heaton.
She married a man named Paul Edward Burden (1920-2005) who was in the Royal Canadian Air force during WW2, i cant find when they married or why she had a different surname to her named father, also cant find any travel record from England to Canada.

Well, his obituary in 2005 says that they had been married for 58 years. That would give them a marriage year of 1947. I’ll keep looking.
