Not seeing his birth reg but he was said to be born 7 Feb 1872 and baptised 6 May 1872 at Waldringfield.
That particular couple have a habit of registering births without a name.

Sarah Naughton d Woodbridge Sep qtr 1847 12 334

GRO has this death indexed as Sarah NAUNTON aged 77, Sep qtr 1847 Woodbridge 12 334.

n

T Henry & Jane had a son Thomas Nanton/Naughton/Naunton Waller b 1863, so there must have been this name in the family (very often a wife's maiden name)

I don't think there is much disputing that T H Waller was the son of George & Ann Edwards bap & alumni (in particular) confirm this. Our concern is that

1 His parents & siblings (if any) are unavailable
2 Who was Charles Waller, the incumbent in 1833, mentioned as the gggrandfather?

Poss T H Waller's gmother was Sarah Naunton, but then she would pass away as Waller not Naunton

I think the writer of the article assumed Charles was T H Waller's dad, as the names tallied. Is it possible to find out more about Rev Charles incumbency, I assume he d in office in 1838, but he was there only 5 years!

George and Ann - parents of Thomas Henry Waller b.1832 - also had a daughter:

Georgiana bc.1834, bp.30/10/1837 Sutton, Suffolk.

In 1851 - as Georgina 16 - pupil at a school, Wilton House, in St. Marylebone, Middlesex - born Waldringfield.

In 1851 - Thomas Henry 18  a visitor with a family named Morton at Cromhall St. Andrew, Thornbury, Glos. - shown as 'Clergyman's son'.

With George Waller marrying at Sutton was he the George Waller bp.25/4/1802 Sutton, son of Thomas and Mary who also had a son Charles bp.8/5/1804 Sutton (plus a Thomas bp.30/3/1800 who on census seems to be a prosperous farm owner).

I know this won't tie in with details from the will of Sarah Naunton but there are burials at Sutton for:

George Waller 32 buried 20/8/1834
Anne Waller 44    buried 11/2/1841

One wonders whether their daughter Georgiana/Georgina b.1834 was born after her father died and duly named after him and not being baptised until 1837 at Sutton (with 1851 census confirming she was born at Waldringfield).  Did brother Charles 'adopt' his niece and nephew?

In 1841 Georgiana Waller is with a John Pretyman, farmer, in Ramsholt, Suffolk but can't find her brother Thomas Henry, or indeed their 'uncle?' Charles.

Yes the George Waller buried at Sutton in August 1834 will no doubt (despite the slight difference in age) be the same one who was said in the newspaper to have died at Waldringfield.

It does look as though he is likely to be the father of Thomas H and Georgiana, and therefore the beneficiary of Sarah Naunton’s will must be someone else.  Details of that are only index transcriptions anyway so there is not enough detail to understand the implications of the will at the moment.

Perhaps the reference in Sarah Naunton’s will was actually to Thomas Henry, son of (the late) George Waller.
