Hi RootsChatters

It's 'brick wall' time again  ::)

Charles was born 15 May 1879 at 91 Market Street, St Andrews, Fife s/o Charles Paterson and Ann Gowans

At the time of the 1881 and 1891 Census he was residing at 91 Market Street, St Andrews, Fife with his parents then in the 1901 Census he was a 'Soldier' at Longmoor Barracks, Greatham, Petersfield, Hampshire, England - he had enlisted on 21 Nov 1899 for service as a Sapper (Service No. 4002) in the 60th Field Company of the Royal Engineers but was discharged medically unfit on 13 Apr 1901.

This is where the trail seems to stop!

Can anyone help?

Regards

Family surnames being researched ...
Crawford, Neilson, Lindsay, Reekie, Davidson
Drummond, Laing, Pearson, Tulloch ... will do for starters but there's a whole lot more!
