Looking for info on Joshua William Penn of Straffordshire England

I have traced my family back to Joshua William Penn wife Mary Ormeda Haynes of Straffordshire Englend.  His parents are Samuel Penn and Lucy Giles.  There is no known information about Samuel Penn i seemes to have hit a brickwall so to speak.

I have only found that Joshua was born in Staffordshire in 1811.  He moved to canada and married my great great grandmother Mary Ormeda Haynes in july of 1882.

Are those years correct, as it means he married age 71?

Im sorry. I got my notes mixed up. 1889 is when i was told he died. And i found him in a census in new jersy in 1880.  I do not know when he married mary who was his second wife. I am looking to go back father than joshua . hopefully to know more about his father samuel penn and mother lucy giles

There is a baptism of Joshua Penn (no middle name of William) 8 Sept 1811 Sedgley Stafford parents Samuel & Lucy

then there is a baptism of Joshua WILLIAM Penn 1812 Coventry Warwickshire

You have Joshua on 1880 New Jersey -does he have the middle name William and what age is he??

If he was 71 when he married Mary Ormeda Haynes -then he managed to father 5 children in a very short time if he died 1889

The Samuel and Lucy PENN who presumably have Joshua baptised in 1811 appear on the 1841 census at "Hall Green" Sedgley:

Samuel PENN (widower) married Lucy GILES at All Saints Sedgley 13 Feb 1804. Witnesses were William GILES and John NEWTON (Lucy signed with her mark).

Modified to add: There is a burial for a Sarah PENN (wife of Samuel) at All Saints Sedgley 24 May 1803, abode given as Ettingsall.

Also burial of Martha, daughter of Samuel PENN of Coseley on 5 Feb 1804, at All Saints Sedgley. Martha was baptised 8 May 1803 at All Saints, Sedgley - father Samuel (blacksmith) and mother Sarah.
