1851 - Henry Mobbs is shown as grandson to a Hannah Mobbs in Brackley.

1881 - Henry is a lodger in Kings Lynn - shown as married but don't know where wife was.

Cannot trace Henry senior after 1881 census.   Their son Henry was their only child (according to GRO's own birth index).

I may be able to help, as Henry Mobbs is my Great Grandfather, his father Henry Mobbs born 1841 is my Great Great Grandfather.  I have literally just gone back through these and have ordered a few certificates.
Henry Mobbs born 25 Mar 1867  in Norwich.  I have his original marriage certiicate to Ann Hardy!  His father is named as Henry Mobbs, a Cloth Hawker.
Father:  Henry Mobbs born 1841 in Brackley, Northamptonshire.
Mother:  Named as Joanna Lovick on her baptism record, but later also goes by the name Hannah or Anna.
Mother of Joanna/Hannah is named as Mary Ann on her Baptism record and her father is Thomas Lovick.
I can not as yet find a father for the Henry Mobbs born in 1841, but his mother is Elizabeth Mobbs, so I suspect the father was not involved.
