Collinses of Stroud

I have Edward Collins on my family tree. Born 2.10.78, the son of William, a bookseller and stationer in Stroud, and his wife Anna Maria. Edward was at home in 1881 and 1891, and a visitor in Bristol in 1901, working as a builder.
The 1920 electoral roll shows him in Cheltenham with his wife Clara J. The 1939 register shows them, together with daughters Vida b 1910, Zoe b 1914 and Joyce b 1921. From this I deduce that Clara was born Clara Jane Richards in the hamlet of Littleworth, near Amberley, in the Stroud district - and I've found her in censuses up to and including 1901.
BUT I can't find the marriage of Edward to Clara. It was probably nonconformist but I would have expected to find it in Freebmd at least. What's more, I can't find them (or Vida) in 1911. Ancestry, Findmypast, Familysearch - all tried and failed.
Is there a super-sleuth out there who can help?

I spotted the two birth records you mentioned, but their mother's maiden name was Richards.

Have you found births for Vida or Zoe on Freebmd or GRO?
Because I cannot see them as COLLINS and nor can I find any Vida and Zoe with the same other surname in the relevant quarters. (I looked in 1st and 2nd qtrs). (Thinking Clara may have married someone else before being with Edward)

Not sure if this is a red herring but there is someone with a Zoe Collins born 24 - 2 - 1914 who married a Mr Ford on a tree on Ancestry.  Can't post the members name but part of their username is Vida.

On this tree Zoe's place of birth is South Africa, given we can't see a birth in the indexes here in Britain , possibly this maybe something to look at. Or get in touch with the person on Ancestry.

That person has three trees with a combined total of 7 people. One of whom, on a tree all alone is Clara Jane Marlow.   
MARLOW  is the MMN for one of those 1921 Cheltenham possibilities for Joyce Collins

There is also a tree on ancestry which has Clara Jane Richards born 1882 Littlebury Gloucestershire married to a William Israel Short. They give the birth details that you have for Clara jane. Unfortunately they don't give her parent's names. In 1911 they are living in Dorset.
