Newcastle Library Evening Chronicle look up, please

I am not entirely sure about this but I wonder if a notice may have appeared for him in a newspaper over the the river .. such as in the Chester le Street Chronicle?  This newspaper would be held at the Gateshead local studies if any Gateshead RootsChatter would be able to check.

I am not even sure if this newspaper carried death notices but it might be worth a try.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'd really doubt it.
They lived in the Bensham area of Gateshead, Newcastle was a lot more 'local' for them than Chester le Street.
