Newburgh Manorial Court
« on: Saturday 01 December 18 20:49 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone please tell me where I can find the original Court Leet records for Newburgh, Lancashire. I have a typed copy of : Newburgh Manorial Court for 1850 where my 4 x great grandfather, Thomas Peet is recorded as an ale taster ( a job requiring " a man with a pigskin stomach and an iron constitution " !). I have to confess I can't remember where I obtained the document in my possession but would like to know where I could find the original and also if he was mentioned in any other court records
Many thanks

Lancashire Archives. If you search for "Manorial Documents Register" you'll get to the National Archives' search system for manorial documents.
