Votes for Women Event

My local newspaper (Whitley Bay News Guardian) reports that at 12.30 pm on Wednesday there is going to be a 'Votes for Women' tea party at the North Tyneside Disabilities forum, Earsdon Road, Shiremoor.

This will include songs, poems, quiz, entertainment, tea, light buffet lunch, festive mince pies and a Christingle at 4 pm.

There will also be a prize awarded for the best Victorian outfit.

mowsehowse, I agree this event sounds like fun and I wish I could go too.  Unfortunately, I will be on day shift so can't go - but I think this sounds like such a good event I am letting others know on here as I do think this might be of interest to some people. :)
