Hi there,

I wondered if anyone could help me please as I can't make out what relationship** Charles Sweetland/Sweatland (spelt Splatt on ancestry!!!) b 1855 Churchstanton, has to the head of the house and also what the head of the house's surname is.

** it could be servant or grandson but I am not sure.

If you are able to decipher it that would be amazing :)

Thanks for reading my post.

Best wishes,
Emma

It looks like a ‘Do’ for ditto - he’s a servant.

The head looks to be Luke Dimond.

Thank you everyone for your time and effort.  This boy is a mystery as he vanishes after 1871, he was the son of Nathaniel Sweetland and Louisa nee Coles. This was the last record of him and now I know a bit more. Many thanks.
