Here he is on the 1891 census Caravan Wardley Street Wandsworth London
William Hampton age 60 born Eltham Kent ( hawker )
Appears to be on his own but down as married

Death for a William Hampton Oct -Dec 1894 age 63
Wandsworth London

He is down as deceased on his daughters Jane's  marriage 1895  St Andrew Earlsfield Wandworth

There is a tree on Ancestry with a photo of him and his wife Jane Collison if you have access

I think Rachel Hampton born 1876 married John Gamble born 1875 at Wandsworth in 1893.

For some bizarre reason the birth registration of their daughter in 1900 is transcribed as Gumble.

GUMBLE, RACHEL       HAMPTON
GRO 1900  S Quarter in WANDSWORTH
