Hi folks, I hope you're all doing well!

We're gearing up for what we think is a quite significant release, this will be going live hopefully next week:

Kaikoura Star (misc. issues 1880-1922, 1923-1950)
Kawhia Settler and Raglan Advertiser (1905-1933)
Taranaki Central Press (November 1936-July 1937)
Press (1946-1961)

This is the first time we've pushed into the 1960's - this is the first release in a series that will see the Press digitised up to 1995 on the site, thanks to the help of the teams at Press and Stuff/Fairfax, who gave us their permission to do this.

Season's greetings to you all -

We're getting a post-new-year content release ready for you, it should be going live in mid-January. After that, we'll be preparing the next release of the Press, so we hope to keep you folks busy for a while over the coming months.

January:
  • Wanganui Chronicle 1920-1950
  • Timaru Herald, 1936-1945
  • Taranaki Daily News, 1921-1928
  • Southland Times, 1921, 1928
  • Te Awamutu Courier, 1936-1950

And next after that (February/March?) we have:
  • Press, 1962-1971

Stay well out there folks - all the best from the Papers Past team!
