Both parents are named on the church record of the marriage and Edward's parents are John LAVELL and Alice CASEY
Bernard CURRIN and Mary O'NEILL are named as Ellen's parents
LINK

Thank you. I wonder if my spelling is contributing to my struggles learning more about Bernard/Mary Currin (Curran). On Ellen's death certificate, they list her as Curran. But it may have been an assumed spelling from the clerk. I am open to any tips or suggestions. Thank you again.

Thank you. I am wondering if James and Micheal are brothers of John and this Edward is an uncle to  the Edward I am researching. Thank you again.

Thank you. I have been stuck at this point with those documents. I am hoping to confirm Edward and Ellen's parents/siblings. I am also curious if the Lavelle moved from West Ireland. Such a mystery!!

I posted the 1901 census to show that John gives his birthplace as County Monaghan.
Here are all the Lavelles in Dunfelimy  in 1901 - all from oldest to youngest are born in Monaghan. This would indicate that the name was there from at least 1840s.

The Tithe Applotments show Lavells in 1830

Do you have reason to believe that they moved from the West?  I know it is popular in North West Mayo where I have family.
