Where do you have John Hughes in 1871 prior to his marriage.  Where are John and family in 1881

i can only find two records 1871 census john living with his brother thomas and his wife ann.holywell

and a record of a john hughes in west derby 1871 census john aged 24 wife 20 and son william 1.

the west derby sounds possible ?. as you know coal miner in hope 1861

also i have not found any records of a hugh hughes born abt 1819 in ruabon or gresford and all the family seem to be in flintshire so maybe the halkyn record is the correct one ?

As John did not marry until 23 Oct 1871 he should not be with his 'wife' in 1871

Could you please tell me where you have him in 1881 then I can see if I can track him back.
