There was a Patrick Padden born in Belmullet workhouse in 1885. Son of Anne Padden. No father listed.

Interesting, I wondered if this could be Delia

Darbili 1894 to Ann, no father also in the workhouse

In the workhouse in 1901 as D P aged 6

It also has a Patrick Padden died April 1915 (further down page).
Patrick, parents Thomas & Mary (Keane) + lots of siblings and another with mother Anne (Mayrick? I can't read my writing and can't find the link again).

What was Mary's maiden name and when did she and Thomas marry?

I think that is the one who is buried in Fallmore - the subject of the thread. - a possible error.

There are 5 men called Patrick Padden on Lives of the First World War Remembered website. This includes men who survived the war.

Connaught Rangers 10177, died 28/04/1915
Royal Dublin Fusiliers 14252
British Army Service Corps SS/5215
Royal Navy Seaman SS712, born 18th March 1886 Belmullet
New Zealand Expeditionary Force 45903, died 4/10/1917
https://www.iwm.org.uk
Members of the public can add information to this website.

The website A Street Near You is a database of WW1 service deaths ordered by the places people came from or had a connection to. Focussing on an area on the map brings up a list of casualties below the map with information about individuals. https://astreetnearyou.org

The Patrick we have been looking at was born 18th March 1885 - just a year out from the Royal Naval Seaman above.  :-\
So was he that one and not the Connaught Ranger which means the mystery still goes on.

I recall another enquiry recently  where someone had attached the wrong family to a grave on ‘find a grave’ site.
Maybe the person who owns the tree on https://www.geni.com/people/Patrick-Padden/6000000031884300015 could be contacted.

Looks like someone just saw a record "that fits" without researching if it was correct or not!
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

GENI  Tree Holder   has added this Patrick Padden who died in WW1 with parents Thomas and Mary from Devlane Clogher, I think this is an error as you say  Patrick was the informant on the death of his father in 1932 and also his mother Mary Cain/Kean Padden in 1933, they married in 1871.Patrick was also  the informant of Edward his brothers death in 1929 who had married in 1908 to Mary Cawley.

1901 census I would say is the Patt listed as servant in Carters Sq Bellmullet.

Just for note if you following this family. Edward Padden brother of Patrick, had 2 children  with wife Mary Cawley dau Mary who married William Rowan  she died 1999 her brother John Padden  died in 1994 in Devlane Clogher not married
