Marriage between Griffiths and Roberts please?

Hi I am trying to find the marriage certificate for my gg grandparents George Griffiths and Hannah Roberts.
I have found the marriage index but not the certificate.
They married Oct-Nov-Dec 1890 in Chester, Cheshire.
I have reason to believe Hannah Roberts is from Mold, Flintshire but George is from Chester.
In the 1901 census, George was a mineral water labourer.
They were both born around 1870.

Thanks for any help as I have really struggled to find any information on Hannah Roberts.

Hi, using the Cheshire BMD website it shows the marriage was a Civil Marriage or Registrar Attended so not at one of the C of E Churches. Think the only way to get any information is to buy a copy of the marriage certificate.

Yes - you would need to buy a copy of the marriage cert

In 1901 George is shown as born 1872 and Hannah 1870

In 1891 George b 1870  and Hannah b 1869  are living with Hannah’s mother in Gt Boughton so you should be able to trace her back using that info
