Elizabeth Redwood Samuel help needed
« on: Sunday 09 December 18 09:30 GMT (UK) »
Looking to trace Elizabeth Redwood Samuel , she was born 19th jul 1848

parents are James Samuel Seaman - mentioned in my previous topic
and betsy Anderson

the words mentioned are uncleanness?

does this suggest this was illegitimate ,

there is no record of marriage for the above couple

strangely enough this james Samuel married mary stewart in December 18th 1847,

it looks like this baby was already conceived with betsy and james married someone else a few months later

Elizabeth redwood Samuel (26)- married John Park (24) - may 17th 1875 in Peterhead

Elizabeth parents are James Samuel (DECEASED) and Eliza Anderson

johns parents are William park and Margaret gray

can anyone find any more info on  Elizabeth redwood Samuel and John Park after the Marriage date , I cant find anything on census or a death

I would like to find out where they died and when ?

thanks very much

Many thanks I’m starting to think they went overseas

Makes sense as he was a stone cutter to trade on his marriage cert

I know there was a lot of stonework and quarry’s around Vermont

Suspect this might be a badly transcribed death? Bearing in mind her son William had predeceased her, so presume d in law gave info??

I’m not sure if there is an image to look at, just a Whirling circle where it should be
