Hi Anyone,

I am trying to follow Dorothy M Gass she was born 1903 in Australia as Gilberthorpe and Married 1929 with surname Gass, I believe she moved to England somewhere as she never keep in touch with family. I was told she remarried in England,
So if anyone can help me this would be great (her mother name is Alma Ann Gilberthorpe Unknown father not on birth certificate.

Travelling with her William Gass  infant  6months

Have found a Turnbull family living at that address in 1932,  Adelaide, Charles and Raymond Charles.

The age is out a bit though

She was FLETCHER when she married GASS in NSW:

Now there is a birth for a Dorothy Fletcher, but not to Alma:

I think I must be reading the original post incorrectly.

Are you saying she was born Gilberthorpe in 1903, and then married a man Gass, or that she was using the name Gass when she married someone.

Where was she born, please?

Looks like Dorothy had a son born the same Q and year in Lincolnshire (Dec 1936) that she married Harry. Also a possible daughter born 1942 in Don Valley (can't be sure as there was another Fletcher/Shepherdson marriage in 1940)
