Damaged Photograph of Charles Hammond

Hi i am doing a photo life book for my grandmother for christmas and this is the only known picture of her father.He died age 45 and not too long after this picture,its been in her purse for so many years it has been damaged alot.
Could anyone help me to restore it .I would appreciate it so much
