Hi thankyou for the information, I don't suppose there is a census entry for Los Angeles for a guy named Charles Donahue born between 1909-1911?

Thanks

Hi,

I can't see anything , other than a couple of Donaheys. I've searched for Charles Donah* b 1909 +/- 5 yrs , in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Do you have a birthplace , please , or any other info ?

No , I don't think that one's right . He has a father , John , in 1910.

I came across a tree on ancestry which I think must be yours , including Charles's English marriage certificate and other documents. I think I can see the family on the 1920 census here :

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MCVY-S53

I found likely deaths in Chicago for Dennis Donoghue and his wife Jane here :

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:N3W2-GL9

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QVRN-J7N7

( I note that you have Charles enlisting in Illinois in 1942 ).

If I have the correct family Dennis was born in Ireland and Jane in Wisconsin. This leads me to wonder about a Charles Donoghue who was born in Nebraska , in prison in 1930 in Illinois , whose parents' birthplaces are given as Ireland and Wisconsin.

This doesn't help with 1940 , but I'm hoping it may lead somewhere.  :)

Yes all this is right... is there any death record?

Thanks
