A few suggestions from a quick look through:

02.  ...five Chests and one Bep and Linnen

07.  ...two high Chest and Drawers...

08.  I believe the word used here (and elsewhere) is Stallages.  Search stillage on the internet.

09.  I don't think it is Stove Grates.  Either Stow or (less likely) Stew.

12.  ...One Clock...

13.  ...one Spit etc

16.  ...one Skellet...

18.  ...Small Hows...  [= hoes]

Many thanks for all those suggestions. I agree except for:

A. Line 7: rather than hutch I think it is catch so: "catch press". In line 15 there is the same word, so: "catch horse". I attach a clip of the two lines side by side. Does anyone have any idea what these things might be.

B. Line 10: Is it Beaufote or Beaufott? Could this be a mis-spelling of Beaufort. The word sounds familiar but I can't quite place it.

C. Line 6: really can't see the word, but if not Couche, could it be Couch, i.e a settee.

D. What would a Bep be?

There are many references to "Glass". I presume these would be windows rather than something for containing a fluid.

There is another section of the inventory which is problematic:

I have transcribed line 1 as :

1.   The said Anne Batchelor doth also allege that xxxxxxxx of a best offer xxx proceeds upon the Estate of William

And this bit too has a couple of blanks. I have transcribed these 4 lines as:

1.   Exhibited upon the oath of Ann Batchelor Widow Relict
2.   and administratrix of William Batchelor of Alfriston aforesd
3.   his late xxxx xxxx deed before us.
                            Ed. Lund Snr.

Any idea what line 3 says?
