They're both much better  :)

When I enlarge, I can see that it looks as if grt grandfather might have moved his head when the photo was taken as he has 2 noses and mouths. I'll try and sort it, but, if you have another photo of him, it might be useful. I see that the one with the hammer has a narrower face. I could use that as a guide if you have nothing more.

Gadget

Added - it could be that it's his cheek but it looks very nose-like. When I get it up and cleaned, it will show more clearly.
