Burnet Road, Leicester

The 1939 information on my grandfather (T E Lant) showed him living in Burnet Road (the script) was not to clear.
Did Burnet Road ever exist as I can find no information on any map?
Any help gratefully received.

It is written Burnel Road in the 1939 schedule, not Burnet.
