I cannot read the identification marks
But here is my best effort

ADDED  first word second line is Tattoo    second might be Rightside

First word first line might be Scar  and last might be Nose
I can imagine Red as the beginning of the second word, but it isn't redness, so don't know.

Defects or Ailments

double bubonocele when coughing [he had double hernias]  ingrowing
toe nail  supra Great (?)  -  xxxx

Hopefully one of the WW1 experts will be along soon and explain all that and fill in/correct.

Hi,

Slight alteration to Mckha489's post for No2 sheet - I read it as follows:

a1810 details             Posted Details       France 10-5-19
R 5/19
39 P of W Coy*          Located                          7/8/19
388 P of W Coy          Rejoined                       2/9/19    B213

O/C [officer commanding]  No. 2 Records       To Class Z             UK  13.2.20

The POW Companies were, I believe, units of the R.D.C. which guarded Germen POWs at the various camps in the UK

Class "Z" Army Reserve was where men who were discharged were allocated - just in case the war began again, Nov. 11th was only an cease fire until the Peace Treaty was signed.

Thanks alot for your help !

With the " Posted Details " comment. Does that literally mean he was in France on 10.5.19 ?

#5: The location is Peselhock.  According to this snippet of a 1919 new article, it is somewhere near Ypres:

He was in France on 10-5-19

He was "Located*" as serving with 39 POW Company on 7/8/19 and then rejoined the other Company on 2/9/19. He was then at the Dispersal Camp at Peselhock before returning to the UK.

*in this context I believe that it means that a query had been raised as to his whereabouts and, after enquiries, he was located at 39 POW Company. It was usually the pay office who wished to know.
