753 Garscube.   Use 1901 Scotland Census with this address to find 41 names, several households, including McFARLANEs....no Amelia, no McNEILLs

Susan Ogilvie b1865/6 Edinburgh according to the 1911 census
I have her marriage to William in 1897 age 28 parents Stewart Ogilvie and Isabella Johnston both deceased and her death in July 1911 age 46 parents Henry Ogilvie and Mary Johnston both deceased
The death was registered by her husband and I have the correct death as she died in the hospital but usual address is 117 Maitland Street where I found her in the census living next door to her daughter Amelia also the occupations of both her husband and father match the occupations on the marriage

I have a feeling Susan's named parents were possibly her g/parents  :-\

OGILVIE STEWART
ISOBEL JOHNSTON FR677
18/06/1844
706/80 122 Dunbar

According to Susan's age when she married (28) this makes her YoB closer to 1869

STEWART SUSANNA AMELIA 1870

Annie

not her her parent's were John Stewart and Susanna Stewart Thomson she married  Robert Reid in 1904 in Blythswood but another ruled out
And Forfarian I agree that Stewart and Isabella are more likely to be her grand parents on her death cert her husband names her parents as Henry Ogilvie and Mary Ogilvie MS Johnston but can 1 find no births to Isabella and Stewart to check if they had children or 2 any records for a Henry and Mary

Mmmm  :-\

Susan Johnson Snr had a number of children, all in Edinburgh and all registered under Johnston (and variants):

John 1865
Susan 1869
Mary McNeil 1871
Hugh McNeil 1873
Caroline Findlay 1874

I can see this entry in 1881?

John McNeill 50 Teacher Of Dancing b. Edinburgh
Malcolm McNeill 18
Margaret McNeill 16
John McNeill 15
Susan McNeill 11
Mary McNeill 9
Hugh McNeill 8

Address: 29 North Bridge, Edibnburgh St Giles

Last four children could fit for those showing on FS and listed above.

Not sure about this one...
