Looking for Susan Spencer nee Ogilvie and her daughter Barbara

Just to add to the mix- the Edinburgh Evening News 26 August 1881 has an article about an attack in a close on South Bridge Edinburgh on " Susan Ogilvie or McFarlane and Grace Hunter or Ogilvie, residing in Beaumont Place".

(Think Grace Ogilvie is showing in 1881 as married to James Ogilvie a painter b Dunbar living in Covenant Close, High Street).

There are a couple of articles about the accident  which killed Stewart Ogilvy:

Edinburgh Evening Courant 9 Oct 1852 - there is a lot of detail.

Edinburgh Evening Courant 12 Oct 1852 concludes "He was much respected as a steady and industrious man,and has left a wife and three children".

Parents James Ogilvie and Grace Hunter

James may, therefore,be Susan's brother. I cannot see any evidence that James and Grace married. Someone  has, however, posted birth certs. of their sons, David Hunter and William Alexander Ogillvie  on their tree on Ancestry.

Yes indeed they do - 17 Dec 1873 in Edinburgh.There is no corresponding marriage record on SP.
