Conrad appears to have been his middle name. The rest, bar his DOB, matches up.

Esther's  name on the original marriage image is Hester Skelsey and it looks as if Conrad may have shaved some years of his age, possibly so as not to appear so much older than his young bride.

The original image of his birth registration has his date of birth as 30 March 1892 and just the names Conrad Fetter. His brother William was the informant and says he is 15 years older than Conrad and was in the house at his birth. So definitely right age on the marriage cert but the wrong birth date on the gravestone born 6 Sep 1886. Not even the right month.
So was there a brother Edward given the middle name Conrad born 1886 then another son given the first name Conrad in 1892?

Hi Crisane.
Thanks for finding Edward Conrad Fetter.  I found him on the 1921 census age 34 with wife Mary Elizabeth,age 27 son William Joseph age 7 daughter Ida Constance age 2 and Robert Bruce age 3 months.  No sign of a Conrad Fetter or Esther.

The late birth registration is dated 1926, so after his marriage.  Brother William is living in Stratford at the time.  Assume Conrad must have also been in the area and needed the birth certificate for some purpose and it was not registered at the time of his birth.

Hi All
         
          According to John Fetters Memorial he married Barbara Schoulder 1874 and they had two children William born 1875 and Catherine born 1879.
          April 1 1880 he married Magadelene Fink and they had nine children but they are not all listed on the memorial including the missing Conrad Fetter born 1892.
          I still can't find him.

A marriage in Toronto, 7 July 1928 of Charles Edward Fetter, age 35 (1893ish), bachelor, labourer,
father Jno. Fetter, mother Lena Fink. to Margaret Evelyn Edwards, age 29, b. England, spinster, housemaid, father Frederick Edwards, mother Alice Lock. Witnesses were Sheridan George Fur?e,
and Sara M. Edwards.

He signs as C. E. Fetter, and looking at his 1916 marriage signature, I'd say they are close, the
C is identical.
